About Me:
I am a Volunteer Fireman in the Perry NY area for 33 years and spend a lot of my time taking pictures. I Do All The Fire Photography For Our Department Since 1973. I have 2 Minolta 5xi Auto Focus 35mm SLR Camera's And I Just A Few Months Ago Purchased A New Minolta Maxxum 5 35mm Camera To Have Something That Was New For 2003. I also have a Kodak 210+ Digital Camera and a Kodak 290 Digital camera. I also have a new Quasar Video Palm Corder for taking up to 2 hours in length videos of all my vacations. This past weekend at Lake George I took 20 rolls of pictures using my Minolta 5xi Auto Focus Camera and took 500 digital pictures using my 290 & 210+ camera. Didn't use the Palm Corder this time. I need a longer lasting battery that doesn't die out after 35 to 40 minutes of use. Looking into getting a new Digital Camera Within The Next Year. It Will Either Be A Konica Minolta 7D w/6.3 Megipixel Camera Or A Canon 10D With 6.3 Megipixel Digital Camera. The 7D Is Coming Out On November 19, 2004 And It Will Use My AF Lenses That I Already Have. Not Sure On The Price Yet.

The History or Story Behind My Site
My new site is all about Carol and I traveling to the Adirondacks to see the balloon festival. We did all of this in a 4 day vacation. When we got there on Wednesday at 5:00pm it was sunny and warm all day and all evening. We left Perry At 12:30 PM and it took about 4 hours and 30 minutes to get there. Got all checked into the Marine Village Resort Motel where we stay each year and then We ended up going to the Aviation Mall in Queensbury and having dinner in the mall along with checking out all the stores. The rest of the weekend was OK. Spending time just going to the Adirondack Balloon Festival and getting all kinds of great pictures was worth the trip. 20 rolls of film was used for all 4 days.

2004 YEAR IN PICTURES
Spending most every weekend in 2004 taking great pictures, we have been to a lot of places and a lot of events since Memorial Day of 2004. Events like the Harborfest 2004 in Oswego with Tall Ships and a great time all day long ending in a wonderful fireworks display at 9:30 pm. Then A lot of Balloon Festivals around the state. Shows for 2004 were in Perry, Dansville, Wellsville, Queensbury, NY. Then we went to Erie County Fair in Hamburg, NY. I attended an Antique Truck Show in Batavia on August 01 and some of my photos from the days events was used in there clubs newsletter which they sent me a copy of. I was thirlled to see this. That was a summer to remember. Now Having A New Job Working At Lowe's Home Improvement Center In Henrietta, I Haven't Had A Weekend Off Till Our Trip To The Adirondack Balloon Festival In September. I Was On 90 Day Trial. I Am Now Coming Up Onto My 6 Months Anniversary On The 27th Of November. It Is Really Been Kind Of A Struggle Doing No Lifting Over 40 Pounds Due To Hurting My Back A Year Ago At Kodak. There Is So Much To Do But, The Doctor Says, 40 Pounds And That Is It. I Do A Lot Of Rekeying Of Locks, Which Has Been My Profession For The Past 30 Years So, I Keep Busy Helping Customers Find What They Need. Every Day Is A Different Set Of Hours. Now I Am Starting To Get Some Weekends Off But, The Fair's & Festival Season Is Over For This Year Till Next May Of 2005.
